Welcome to my Teaching Blog
Beginning in January 2008, I decided to move my teaching blog to Word Press. However, I continue to maintain the index and previous blog entries on my teaching web site.
This move is beneficial because it permits me to maintain the blog without having to rely on special software. Furthermore, Word Press allows me to place entries into various categories and makes it possible for readers to search the blog for key words.
More importantly, Word Press makes it far easier for individuals to comment on my blog entries.
Modifying Blog Posts
Once an entry is posted, I will only make changes to correct typographical or minor grammatical errors.
If a larger change—such as correcting a factual error—is made, I will post an explanation explaining the change.
There might be times when I might want to change, modify, or clarify my position. In such cases, I will either respond to the original posting in the same way in which others can respond to postings or I will post a clearly marked addendum on the bottom of the original entry.
Responding to Blog Entries
Responses are moderated and will generally appear in the blog within 24 hours. I do ask for a name and an e-mail address.
Although it is not required, I would prefer that people use their real names when responding to posts.
E-mail addresses will not be published unless you include them in the body of your message.
